Coffee is something that helps us kick-start our day in a good mood. Across the globe, coffee is used as a refreshing beverage, and it also has an ancient history. Coffee originated in Ethiopia. Consuming coffee can be highly beneficial for the human body. The main reason people drink coffee is because of its stimulating effect. It helps us stay alert and more active. However, coffee does come with a few downsides. The caffeine in coffee is a stimulant that can lead to insomnia and anxiety. Excessive coffee consumption increases urination. Drinking coffee along with meals may interfere with the absorption of essential nutrients like iron and calcium. People who consume large amounts of coffee and then suddenly stop may experience withdrawal symptoms such as headaches, fatigue, and irritability. Caffeine can also raise blood pressure, particularly in those with heart-related issues.

There is a proper way to consume coffee daily. Coffee intake should depend on a person’s health, age, and mental condition. Consuming 3 to 4 cups a day is considered moderate for the human body. Pregnant women and those with heart or blood pressure conditions should limit their coffee intake.
