A Toddy is a warm mixture of honey and whiskey. It is consumed during the winter to help the body adjust to the cold weather.

It has been used in India since British times. The word Toddy comes from the Hindi word Taari, which means palm. A drink made by boiling the sap from the leaves of the palm tree was referred to as Toddy. Today, Hot Toddy has become a traditional alcoholic drink across the world. It is believed that in Western countries, soldiers used to consume this drink before heading into battle to protect themselves from harsh weather.

Human trafficking is a serious global issue. Women, children, and the poor are most often the victims of this crime. They are exploited for begging, forced labor, and prostitution, among other illegal activities. Due to this criminal network, many people in our country have lost their families. To prevent such anti-social crimes, every year on January 11, National Human Trafficking Awareness Day is observed.
