In our country, several days in the year are observed as Martyrs’ Day. January 30 is one such day observed across India as Martyrs’ Day.
This day is dedicated to the memory of Mahatma Gandhi, a great freedom fighter.
It marks the day when Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated by Nathuram Godse.
Mahatma Gandhi made the highest contribution to India’s freedom struggle.
His principles and way of life remain an inspiration to all of us.
